ZZK Recordsがパイオニアとなり、ニコラ・クルスの成功によって”デジタル・クンビア〜エレクトリック・フォルクローレ”というミュータントなテクノのシーンがアルゼンチンを中心に盛り上がり、VOODOOHOPが起爆してヨーロッパ勢のオルタナティブなレイブシーンとの交流から大西洋を経由した、国や地域も関係ないオーガニックで新しいダンスミュージックができています。今作もその流れの一枚です。

儀式的だった前作のアートワークから、今作はより内相的なダークな印象を与えるジャケ写。ブエノスアイレス〜ベルリン、そして最近は移住者も多い噂のリスボンへ拠点も移しヨーロッパでの活動も長くなった影響から、”クンビア以上ハウス未満の微熱な横の揺らぎ”、の中にシンセやドローン/ダークアンビエントのインスピレーションも加わり、クンビア/フォルクローレのリズムのミニマル/エレクトリック化も深化。バリオリンド独特のエレガンスも醸し出すストイックなラテン訛りのビート/リズムはやはり南米経由の新しいテクノだなと思います。（パーカッシブで柔アシッドなニコラ・クルスとのアプローチの違いも面白い。）チャランゴやアンデスフルートの生演奏の織り込まれたシーケンスで遠くへ
、また遠くへ。これはどうしても逃れられない血のなせる物語。

ゲストは、マルチカルチからのリリースや安東ウメ子remixでも名を挙げたアンディ・オットーやフェルティル・ディスコメンバーのジン・イェレイ。クアンティックがプロディースしたフィメール・トリオ、フェミーナのクララ・トルッコはいつのもように美しいボーカルを聴かせてくれます。

国内でもアングラダンス好きだけではなく、calmのイベントSunset The MARINAへの出演や、橋下徹氏の2019前半年間ベストのリストにも入るなど、この酩酊感溢れるオーガニックなスロー・ビートに対してバレアリック、チルアウトな解釈も出現。この現象の行き着く先は予測不可能です。現場もぜひ！ (Shhhhh)

Fulgor is the deepest movement in Barrio Lindo´s discography until today. Produced in the last two years on constantly tour around Europe and South America.
In his third album, Agustín Rivaldo is strongly inspired by the humanity and the way that people connect through dance and the body in many different ways.

Barrio Lindo celebrates his third album with special featuring for second time argentinean band Weste and producer Jin Yerei, german producer and composer Andi Otto, ecuatorian band Huaira and sax player Grabiel)

The musical inspiration cames once again from Southamerica. After his second album “Albura” (2017), Rivaldo works with rhythms from the last century like argentinean Murga, ecuatorian San Juanito, brazilian Chocalho, and centroamerican Reggeaton. The sound of the album has a big presence of metals and springs sparkling in a dark ambient. His use of synthsizers predominate in this nighttime universe that Fulgor cross.
